Thank You...

Thank you to everyone who attended Curriculum Night last night. Without your support and help at home, we would be lost! If you were unable to attend the meeting, a packet of information should be coming home. If you would like to view it online, please click here:

Classroom Needs

Each of us has some items we still need for our classroom. If you would like to donate, please contact your child's teacher and we can give you a list of some things we need.

MANY of you have already donated supplies to our classroom and we appreciate it so very much! THANK YOU!

Friday Folders

Friday Folders went home for the first time today. These folders are intended to help you track your child's behavior. We appreciate you reviewing this folder with your child each week to celebrate their strengths and discuss areas in which they may need to work on. Please review/sign these over the weekend and have them back at school by Monday.

Reminders

A large envelope of important documents was sent home with your child on Monday.

If you would like to make lunch restrictions on your child's account, you will need to indicate your wishes on the lunch sheet that was included in the envelope.

We also spoke with students about building a safe and strong digital footprint. To view the presentation we showed them regarding their digital footprint, please click the link below.

It's all about...GRIT.

Beginning this week and continuing throughout the year, 3rd graders will be working on the concept of grit, or being gritty. What is grit? Take a look at the video below.
Grit: The Key to Your Success at FLVS
Try discussing this new concept of grit with your child at home. They might share what they have already learned about grit this week at school!
