The Regions 1&2 ECSE Snippets purpose is to provide monthly communication with practitioners regarding regional happenings, upcoming trainings and resources. It is each practitioners responsibility to check with their district/supervisor regarding use of the resources and participation in professional development opportunities.

What is Inclusion? This was the topic during our first of six sessions in our regional inclusion training presented by Ted Bovey from Denver University. We have 6 programs who are going through content training, action planning around evidence-based best practices for inclusion, and then reflecting on those practices. Below are a few pictures highlighting discussion activities.

Minogi'aawaso
In this virtual presentation, Lucy Littlewolf-Arias (Preschool Development Grant Tribal Nations Lead at MDE) will share an introduction into the Tribal Nations in Minnesota. This will include history and policy considerations as well as the risk, reach, and resilience of American Indian families and how educators who work with children can come together to care for children in an insightful way.
