You can customize your app to get emergency notifications, follow school calendars, and learn the story of your school through fun social media updates! There are also quick links to our most used applications, such as Focus, bus transportation, school menus, and adding money to lunch accounts.

How to Download the OneClay App


  • Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Search “OneClay" or "Clay County District Schools"
  • Select “Free” and then “Install”
  • You will need to know your Apple or Google account password
  • After it has installed select “Open”
  • You have now downloaded the app

How to Customize Your Notifications

To receive reminders and emergency notifications from your child's school:
  • Select the Notifications icon
  • By default you will receive all District level notifications
  • For Apple devices, select the “Wheel” in the top right hand corner; for Android devices, select the “Slider” in the top right hand corner
  • Tap Follow schools
  • Choose which school(s) you wish to follow
  • Select “Back”
  • Tap Configure alerts
  • The slider for New message should be set to green for on
  • Select “Back”
  • Select “Done” ​
  • Your notifications are now customized

How to Customize Your News Feed

  • Select the News icon
  • By default you will see all the district level news feeds
  • For Apple devices, select the “Wheel” in the top right hand corner; for Android devices, select the “Slider” in the top right hand corner
  • Select which school(s) you wish to follow
  • Choose which type of news you want to follow
  • Select “Back” and then “Done”
  • Now your customized selection will display in your News Section

How to Customize Your Calendar

  • Select the Calendar icon
  • For Apple devices, select the “Wheel” in the top right hand corner, for Android devices, select the “Slider” in the top right hand corner
  • Select which school(s) you wish to follow
  • Select “Done”
  • Your calendar is now customized
