Bridport Family Newsletter 9/2/22
Update from Principal Matthew Brankman
September 2, 2022
Dear Bridport Families,
The first week of school is a magical time! When students leave in June, the building quickly changes from a space filled with life and laughter, to a mess needing to be cleaned! BCS is always clean and inviting because of Bettee Lebeau! Bettee cleans, organizes, waxes, moves things, sorts, and gets our building ready for our students in ways that are above and beyond her job description! The entire custodial and maintenance staff have been working extra because of the staffing shortage and we are so thankful for all that they do! Thank you!
We are feeling very fortunate to be able to have students and staff together without restrictions this year, and we are also excited to be able to have in-person meetings with parents! We love to hear from you via email, but please know that it is likely that we wil follow up with you via a phonecall or an in person meeting! Rebuilding our community is going to take time, and there is no substitute for being together!
Please see the links below, and PLEASE fill out the Free & Reduced lunch form, even if you don't think you'll qualify!
Respectfully,
Matthew Brankman
Principal
Resources
Help our schools with one simple form!
All school meals will be free again for ALL students.
But, it's still VERY IMPORTANT to complete the free and reduced meal application form. Our district gets $475,000+ each year based on the % of students who qualify for free/reduced meals. So, if you fill out the form, you help us qualify!
A paper application will come home with your child, or apply now online.
Engage and Connect
