Winter Weather is Here!

Please remember to send students to school with appropriate warm-weather clothing including warm coats, hats and gloves/mittens. As a reminder, students will typically go outside for recess when the temperature & wind chill are above zero so students will need to dress appropriately. Please reach out to our school staff if you need assistance in getting winter clothing for your student.

Students learned about the three types of rocks and have studied them in depth. They also created Sedimentary Rock Sandwiches to celebrate the end of Sedimentary week!

Kindergarteners have been busy! They love doing projects and learning how the world works!

Boone Rotary Club

Big thanks to the Boone Rotary Club! They donated 3 books to each of our second grade students. It’s great to have supportive community partners in Boone!

Elementary Donation Received

The Boone County Iowa Democrats completed a Martin Luther King Jr Service Day project and spread all donations out throughout schools within Boone County. This year they have graciously donated six pairs of snow boots, five pairs of heavy mittens, ten pairs of gloves, two packages disinfecting wipes, forty 2oz tubes of hand sanitizer and a $150 check! The district is thankful for all donations and such a giving community!
