LIFT Weekly Update
All about the Student Ministry at First Baptist Covington.
Believe it or not, summer is winding down, but we are still gearing up for our biggest event of the year, LIFToff! It's coming up July 26-28! It is going to be an amazing weekend as we induct our new 6th graders and get ready for a big year! We'll have the return of on-campus Laser Tag, the biggest Slip-and-Slide yet, guest band The OBB, and even an afternoon pool party at the FFA Camp complete with a Blob and Zip Line!!! Not only that, but you have the option of having a sleepover with your friends at a stranger's house with Host Homes on Friday night! It just doesn't get any better than that, folks. You must register for this event online, even though it is all FREE. Check out the full schedule on the photo below, and register online at firstbaptistcovington.com! ALL STUDENTS HAVE TO REGISTER ONLINE BEFORE THE EVENT!!!
LIFT is also on as usual this week, with another lesson in our Not a Fan series. Check out the last message below to catch up!
Finally, for LifeLine this Sunday night at 6pm, we'll meet on the Square at 6pm to support the Children's Musical that is the culmination of the Children's Music Camp here at the church. It should be a great performance!
Stick with us Sunday Nights! We're about to start some amazing training on how to share your faith!

Last Week's Message from LIFT
· Do you consider yourself to be a rule-follower or a rule-breaker?
· Why did the Pharisees and Sadducees cling to the rules so much?
· Why do you think Christians sometimes do that now?
· If Jesus died for our sins, do we still have to follow the rules?
· Why do we try to live better lives then?
· How do you grow in your love for Jesus?
· What result will you see when you do?
