Time for Change

As we enter the final week of school for 2015, I want to thank the teachers who continue to embrace Personalized Learning in the midst of the vast changes occurring in GCS. Our district is undergoing a transition but one thing remains constant - our ability to help students reach their highest potential. If you did not read the post-district PACE observation report, please review the one for Allen and Guilford. Contact these teachers if you want to know more about the teaching strategies they used in their classrooms. We go to a lot of professional developments, but the best ones come from our colleagues. Do not hesitate to ask them for help.

As always, view the PLEF Instructional Coaching Menu to pick from a variety of resources to help you and your students grow. Click the links below to reserve 1:1 time with me. There are a variety of pre-made Canvas courses available. The holiday season is the perfect time to prep your online class so you may start anew in 2016. Have a great week.

Great Teaching and Learning Spotlight

Great teaching and learning is occurring in every classroom in your building. Your peers are your greatest resource. Visit their classroom during planning to keep your ideas fresh. If you have something you'd like to share, email it to me and I'll feature it in my weekly updates.

Mr. Jordan's (Allen/ESL) class is peacefully engaged in formative assessment using Canvas.
