EXPECTATIVAS DEL CODIGO DE VESTIMENTA
Estimados Estudiantes y Padres/Tutores,
Martes a Viernes:
Atentamente,
Jesus Rios

DRESS CODE EXPECTATIONS
Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
I am writing you this letter to ask for your support in helping our students meet our Dress Code and Uniform Policies at Latino College Preparatory Academy. In response to the recent increase in gang activity that have surfaced throughout our city and surrounding school community, the staff at LCPA would like for parents and guardians to partner with us to reinforce our dress code expectations which are established as a safety precaution for our students.
We at LCPA believe appropriate student dress and overall appearance foster a positive and productive school site while reflecting pride in our school community. We further believe that students’ dress and presentation is a shared responsibility between family and school site. A visible indication of this responsibility is displayed to students following our outlined Dress Code daily. Our aim is to ensure student and staff safety, maintain a healthy learning environment, and prepare students for postsecondary expectations through professional standards. It is also to utilize our dress guidelines as a way to confirm that all students on site are our LCPA scholars.
I am writing to “Thank you“ for your assistance in sending your child to school daily with the appropriate school uniform and to ask for your support in our continued pushes for consistency. Further, we have included below the LCPA Uniform Policy for your reference and to ensure that we all have the same understanding of the uniform expectations/ guidelines. Note: Purchase of a uniform or school apparel from a school site office is NOT a requirement for meeting the dress code or for attendance at LCPA. Please contact Mr. Rios if you have any questions regarding the LCPA dress code.
