Happy Thanksgiving

Wildcat Family,

I would like to take this time to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. As I reflect on these past several years, I am grateful for the support and encouragement from our Mayfield Community. Our students are blessed to be a part of a community that values their growth and development. I have been a part of this great district in various capacities for the past 46 years and Mayfield never ceases to amaze me. Thank you to all of our families for making Mayfield a special place.

As we embark upon the holiday season, I hope that you are able to slow down, enjoy time with family and friends, and take the time to be present.

With much gratitude and appreciation,

Jeffrey Legan

Fall End of Course Exams: U.S. Government / Make-up Testing

All students currently enrolled in U.S. Government or AP U.S. Government will be taking the Ohio End of Course Assessment on Wednesday, December 14th at 8:00 AM. This test is required for graduation by the Ohio Department of Education. All students enrolled in these courses will need to arrive at MHS and be in their designated testing location no later than 8:00 AM. This means students testing will NOT have a late arrival this Wednesday.

The specific testing rooms will be communicated directly with students by their government teachers. A large majority of students will be taking the assessment in the wood gym, however, some students will be testing in other rooms.

Students will be taking the government assessment online using their school-issued devices. Students will need to have their Chromebooks charged and ready to go on test day.

Students that are in need of retaking another assessment will be doing so on December 13th and 14th. Students that need to retake an assessment will be contacted directly by their school counselor and will be given specific testing information.

Picture Retakes

Picture retakes are scheduled for Monday, December 5th. Click on this link for more information

Picture re-takes will take place in the hallway between the Auditorium & the Wood Gym from 8 AM - 2:30 PM.
