Bellville Elementary Newsletter
April 2021
Welcome back from Spring Break! We hope you had a fun week with your families and are ready to finish the year strong!
April begins State Testing for third, fourth, and fifth graders. Please make sure your child has a good night's sleep and eats breakfast on test days. Teachers have been working hard to instruct your children, and our goal is that students try their best, and we have a fantastic end to this school year.
Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel Field Day for this year. With the inability to have parent volunteers to help, there is just no way Miss Hendrix can manage field day by herself and provide the awesome experience we have come to love.
Mr. Black is putting together a virtual talent show! There is more information below, but school appropriate talents can be submitted to Mr. Black via blackj.clearfork.k12.oh.us.
I feel as if I should let you know that I am having some health issues and have had to work from home when I am able. Mrs. VanHorn is filling in for me at school, and we talk almost daily in an effort to make sure we are accomplishing everything. I will not be at school for the remainder of the year, but am planning on being able to return in August. I will have another surgery in the fall, but this is supposed to be the last of my journey.
I am doing well, but miss seeing your children's smiles and all of you in the car line! If you need to get in touch with me, please feel free to email me at swanks@clearfork.k12.oh.us, or call Mrs. Bailey at (419) 886-3244 and I will call you back. It may take a day or two, but I will return your call.
Lastly, this has been a hard year for everyone, and I am truly thankful for the sacrifice, support and communication from each of you! As of right now, Clear Fork Schools will be going back to normal hours when we return to school in August, and I have included the school calendar for the 2021-2022 school year.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns, and I will be in touch. Thanks again!!
