A short but work loaded week!
During reading we studied the character trait of courageous through Rosa Parks. For phonics these second graders studied al, le, and el words that make the same "l" sound. We did something very neat during science to gather data like an engineer would, we had first grade come in and vote on which color would be best for the flavor strawberry-orange. During math we explored coin counting, making change and adding number quickly. We began compare and contrast in writing this week.
