I personally think that the biggest characteristic of this commercial is the humor. Humor is a good characteristic because its makes the videos go viral. Furthermore, this helps the message get through with social media when everyone shares it. Lastly, making the commercial funny also makes people watch it again and doing that will get the message the company is trying to get through. Overall, Humor was a big part of this commercial and is one of the most important characteristic.


Testamonial

Volvo had put Jean-Claude Van Damme in this commercial for a good reason. Testimonial is good for a commercial because when they see that their idol/someone they recognize is in that commercial, people tend to watch the commercial and take it more seriously. Furthermore, Jean-Claude Van Damme is a movie actor so he can be recognized. Another reason why a testimonial is good is because it shows that the company is rich enough to hire a famous actor.


Excitement

This commercial has a lot of excitement. When the actor is doing excitement stuff which makes makes the viewer pay attention and want to keep watching. Moreover, It makes the commercial look better because it catches attention. All in all, this commercial is excitement which makes the viewer happy and makes them pay attention.
