Chromebook Request and Pick Up Information


Greetings Warrior Families,

Chromebooks will be ready for pick tomorrow, Thursday, March 26th if you have already signed up. Make sure you have submitted a Chromebook Request Form prior to pick up. Also, student must have their Student ID with them. Remember, is your responsibility to keep your chromebook in a safe place. Any LOST OR DAMAGED chromebook will result in a FINE. If you have questions or concerns, you may contact Ms.Susan Shih at shihs@mdusd.net or Mrs. Jenny Guirola en guirola@mdusd.net (español).


Pick up will be from

11 – 11:30 a.m. for seniors

11:30 – 12 p.m. for juniors

12 – 12:30 p.m. for sophomores

12:30 – 1 p.m. for freshmen

If you need to borrow a chrome book, please sign up on the Ygnacio Valley High School web page. There will be additional dates for pick up.

Message from the Teachers

IB Students:

IB has extended their deadlines by a month for the internal assessments that a few classes were still working on. Regarding the external exams (when students sit down together, similar to the AP), so far IB has not cancelled those. However, it's a wait-and-see. Ms. Weintraub has been in contact with them and will let students know immediately if things change.


3rd quarter grades are Due by 11:59 PM Tuesday, March 24th. Officially, the 3rd quarter ended on March 13th (the last day we had classes), but teachers may offer and/or accept late work and make-up work. Please contact your teachers regarding this matter.

State Tests:

Community Message from Monument Crisis Center

Good morning MCC Families & Partners:

Monument Crisis Center, a critical family resource center, proudly located in and serving Concord and Contra Costa County,

is going to provide groceries on a week-by-week Emergency Food Distribution Schedule.

Monument Crisis Center will be distributing emergency groceries for anyone in need of emergency food for themselves and their families on the following dates:

Friday, March 20, 2020 9am -12noon

Monday, March 23, 2020 9am -12noon

Tuesday, March 24, 2020 9am -12noon

1 bag per each adult

Additional info:

  • Next dates will be posted after re-evaluation of services and the current health & safety situation.
