Irish House Concert Series
Please join us on December 3rd as we begin the 2022-2023 Irish House Concert Series with Open the Door for Three, an internationally acclaimed trad music trio that has performed at such venues as the Kennedy Center in D.C. and the Milwaukee Irish Festival. Tickets are $20. These are wonderfully informal concerts, with lots of give-and-take between musicians and audience. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are complimentary. Doors open at 7pm. Music starts around 7:30. Please note a change in venue. We are moving from the Blacklock House to a more accessible and commodious (if less grand) setting. Click on "Get Directions" below.

Niall Cahill needs our help
Many of you know Niall Cahill, who, as a member of CofC's Business Affairs, joined us as a founding member of CofC's Irish and Irish American Studies committee. Few people in this world carry around with them wherever they go such a wonderful sense of kindness and good fun. You might remember Niall for our quixotic attempt to light the Cooper River Bridge green on St. Patrick's Day--he was on the TV news for that caper. We were surely tilting at windmills! Niall is a native-born Irishman, and he's a cherished member of Charleston's Irish and Irish American Community. And he needs our help. Click the link below for the full story.
