District News:
High School Benchmark Testing:
All high schools will benchmark test with MasteryConnect/TE21 in the following subjects during the 2017-2018 school year:
Algebra I, Biology I, English I, and US History
As teachers plan this summer, it is critical that they follow the Rubicon Atlas Pacing Guide. The benchmark tests are based on the Rubicon Atlas Pacing Guide. The Academics team will release a standards alignment document so that all teachers know which standards are being tested each nine weeks on the benchmarks.
Friends of the Library Teacher Appreciation Book Sale:
In appreciation for what educators do all year long, the FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY are opening the doors to our August Book Sales so you can get your classrooms/school ready and full of books for the school year. These book sales are usually open only to members of the FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY, so please bring a school ID or school employee badge for admittance. You’ll find thousands of books – from “board” books for preschoolers to young adult fiction and current non-fiction on every subject imaginable. The source of these books are library overstocks and donations from the community. All books are in good to excellent condition and priced to make sure they find a new home. Sales will be held on August 3 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and August 5 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Merovan Center (1200 Woodruff Road, Suite E2, in Greenville).
