GaVS Physics B: Week 5 Update
18 AND 16 week Spring 2017
This Week's Focus: Electricity
We will be continuing our study of Electric Currents and Circuits this week. Specifically, we will be focusing on Series and Parallel Circuits. We will finish this week with our Electric Currents and Circuits Test on Friday, February 10th.
This is also the first week that the 18 week and 16 week sessions are working on the same material.
If you haven't been getting the grades you hoped for on your assignments, think about what you can do differently:
- Are you logging on to the live Adobe sessions or watching the recordings?
- Are you spending the suggested 60-90 minutes per day on physics?
- Are you contacting me and asking for help if you do not understand something?
If you aren't doing ALL of these things, try doing them and see if your grade improves. It's worth a shot! And do not wait until the last minute to complete (or start) your assignments, as they take some time to do, especially the labs.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me:

| Checking Feedback Do you know how to check your feedback on your assignments? This is where I let you know how you did on your assignments and give you pointers on how to improve your grade next time. If you would like to check your feedback for a test or quiz (and see the questions you missed!) go to the list of tests and quizzes and right click on the downward arrow (see picture). Click on "Submissions". This will bring up a screen that lists your attempts. Click on "Attempt 1" and you can see the question, the default feedback for that question, and the specific feedback I left you after grading the test/quiz. | Adobe Help Session Our Adobe Help Session this week is Tuesday, February 7th from 6-7 PM. Don't forget to attend and bring your questions about this week's assignments so I can answer them before your assignments are due. |
