Principal's Message

Dear Mary M. Knight Families,

What a great week! We ended the week with a pep assembly to recognize our Fall sports and end the week on a high note.

We are getting into a stride as we hit the midpoint of September; sports are in full gear, Fall benchmark assessments are wrapping up, and learning is a full go in the classrooms. We recognize our students weekly with our "above the line" weekly Owls. The PTO and boosters are working hard to prepare for the Harvest Dinner and Auction and support our kiddos.

I want to thank all our Mary M. Knight families for all you do for our kids.

Best Regards,

Principal Stoney

Update Skyward

Please update your Skyward Information with your current phone numbers and emails. This is our primary data source for contacting families and sending out information. If your emails are outdated, you will miss critical information that goes out via email. If you have questions about doing this through Skyward parent access, don't hesitate to get in touch with the front high school office for support.

Skyward Family Access

Please remember that Skyward Family Access is critical for communicating your child's progress. A good practice is to check this with your child regularly, where you will find information such as grades, missing work, attendance, etc. You can find the access link on the district website. If you need assistance with your access login information, please get in touch with the high school front office.

----Above the Line----

Weekly above the line students

This year, Mary M. Knight is introducing a new recognition system that aligns with our theme for the year: "above the line." This philosophy emphasizes the importance of being intentional, thoughtful, and purposeful in our actions and decisions. Even when faced with challenging situations, we strive to make the best choices by taking a moment to reflect and consider our options. Our staff was recently asked to nominate a student who embodies the "above the line" mentality.

This week's above-the-line OWLS are:

  • Elementary: Rylee Coleman, Raegyn Ayeres, Kodi Oakes, Harold Beebe, Aree Finch, Abby Kitchell
  • Secondary: Gabe Divelbess
