A Weekly Update
Dear GRE Families,
We have reached the end of another fabulous school year at GRE. Does it even seem possible that the year is over? I know there is excitement about the summer, anticipation for the year to come, and even possibly some nerves for those moving on to fifth grade. Our fourth grade students will certainly be missed next year.
On a personal note, I want to thank everyone who is a part of the GRE family for making the last two years of my career nothing short of amazing. I can say with all honesty that I have never been part of a school with such kind students and committed parents. Since day one, I have felt to be blessed a part of this community. It is because of the GRE family, and my warm welcome here, that I am now proud to call Big Walnut my home. I look forward to the day that I can send my daughter to school in Big Walnut.
Thank you for not only your unending support during my time at GRE, but I also want to thank you for all of the support and congratulations I have felt as I move into my new role. It will most certainly be sad to not see these 450 smiling faces everyday, and to not dance down the halls with the Party Wagon. However, I feel so fortunate to be able to make an impact on all of the 3,000+ students in Big Walnut, and that I will continue to see your children as they progress through their education.
Thank you and have a wonderful summer,
Jen Young, Principal
