Are you working on your university transfer applications for the Fall 2022? If so, you are ready to take the next step in your academic journey and we want to make sure that we are there to help you navigate the admissions process. Join us for hands on assistance with completing your transfer applications! An EOPS/CARE Counselor and a staff member will be there to offer hands-on guidance as you navigate through your university application.
Session Dates: Nov 9th, Nov 16th, Nov 23rd, Nov 30th

Students who attend will receive a $15 Dinning Service Card. (LIMIT ONE PER DAY.) These cards can be used at the Mountie Café and the small coffee shops on campus. You are also welcome to bring a friend but make sure they register and are seeking assistance with transfer applications.
Raise Your Score, Get Out of Debt

If you are carrying credit balances from month-to-month or struggling to figure out how to make ends meet due to debts you owe, you are not alone. About 37% of U.S. households aren’t able to pay off their credit cards in full each month. This workshop will provide you with a roadmap to get you out of debt and raise your credit scores in the process.

Restraining Orders
Facilitators: Jenny Velasco, HBCL
This workshop provides details of how to get a restraining order and how to prepare for court. It is facilitated by the Harriet Buhai Center which is a nonprofit organization providing free legal aid and education for low-income community college
students enrolled in Los Angeles County focusing on their parental rights, their safety and security, their economic security divorce, and parentage.

HERF Student Emergency Funds - FUNDS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!
Through the Mt. SAC Education Emergency Relief Fund Emergency Grant application, students may request a financial aid grant due to an exceptional need as long as it is related to any component of the following:
- Any component in your cost of attendance/re-enrollment needs; or
- For emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care.
