Spring Concert 2023!
Wow! We had record attendance at our amazing Spring Concert. Huge shout-out to Mrs. Candland for putting together such a special event for our students and families. The students all worked so hard and I could not be more proud of the show last night. It filled my heart to see us all there together!
HUGE crowd! Thank you for coming!
SUPRISE ... it's Spider-Man!
Amazing performances from all of our students!
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION BEGINS THIS MONTH
Will your child be 5 years old by August 31?
On March 6, you can complete your child’s online enrollment for kindergarten. An easy and quick process as detailed in the step-by-step parent walkthrough video available in multiple languages on our website www.everettsd.org/kindergartenenrollment. You can also enroll inperson at your neighborhood school.
Enrolling early in March will ensure invitations to your school’s kindergarten events and participation in Everett Ready, a transition-into-kindergarten program offered for one week in August to all enrolled kindergarteners. We are looking forward to welcoming you and your student to kindergarten!
ANNUAL SCHOOL STAKEHOLDER SURVEY
How are we doing? Your voice is important to us!
Time to help guide our school’s continuous improvement process by taking our short anonymous family School Stakeholder Annual Survey. Each year students, families and staff are surveyed in an ongoing effort to understand our specific strengths and challenges that impact school quality. Click headline to take survey. Submit your thoughts by March 31.
NEWS FROM THE ART ROOM
From Mrs. Taylor
Art Studio Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer in the art studio, let Mrs. Taylor know! She would love helpers! You need to complete a volunteer application on the district website to be an approved volunteer and be able to help out in the classrooms.
Men’s shirts for SMOCKS: We are looking for donations of men’s dress shirts. We will be using these button up long sleeve shirts as smocks. Children can wear the shirt backwards when painting or working with clay to protect their clothing! If you have any long sleeve, button-up men’s shirts that you would like to donate, please send them to school with a note that they are for the art studio! Thank you!
I love working with your amazing young artists each day! If you have any Questions about the Art Studio please feel free to send me an email btaylor@everettsd.org.
