Fundations in GPS

Scientifically-based and Scientifically-proven
Through years of research and classroom practice, we know that effective early literacy instruction must be multi-sensory (multiple learning styles and highly interactive), systematic (sequential and cumulative), and explicit (explaining content clearly). Also important to student learning is repetition/extended practice and the immediacy of feedback.
Important to student success is that Fundations is grounded in incorporating the Gradual Release Model, embedding assessment of skill mastery, engaging students in rigorous work, and providing differentiated instruction for all learners.
Additionally, Wilson Fundations focuses on individual student development by meeting the needs and actively engaging each student in their own learning.

Progress is Daily
In addition to being able to provide immediate feedback and/or a re-teach in real time, the teacher is also able to design the next day's lesson to ensure each student's needs are addressed.
