The Best Day

The best day of the trip was April 6th when my dad and I went to the Colorado Avalanche game at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. The Avalanche has been my favorite team ever since I started playing hockey at the age of five. My dad promised me that one day he would take me to see them play at their home arena. It was truly a great experience for me. I got to see my favorite player of all time, Patrick Roy, coach the Avalanche. It is definitely a day that I will never forget. My dad is the one that introduced me to hockey and I couldn't think of anybody better to spend this day with.
