Winter 2021
VT Dual Enrollment
We have received a number of questions from sophomores interested in taking a summer dual enrollment class.
Vermont public high school juniors and seniors are eligible to access two college courses with tuition fully reimbursed through a voucher system. Because this program is limited to juniors and seniors, current sophomores can only take courses that begin on or after June 18, 2021 (the end of their sophomore year).
Rising juniors who are interested in taking a summer course should check out offerings at UVM, CCV (schedule not posted yet but keep your eye on the CCV website for coming info: ccv.edu), St. Michael's College. The VT dual enrollment portal opens for summer voucher requests on 2/19.
Dual Enrollment Voucher and course registration is a multi-step process
1. Students should identify the course they would like to enroll in.
2. Students must apply for a Dual Enrollment account here
3. SBHS approves the account and students receive an email (to their SB email address) with account verification steps.
4. Students log in to their account and request a voucher for a specific course and section
5. SBHS approves voucher requests and students receive an email with the approved voucher number.
6. Students then "register for the course" at the specific college, using the voucher number.
