Turning the Ocean to Tea
Come learn about what happened in Boston
What Happened December 16, 1773
A group of colonists, called the Sons of Liberty, went down to Boston to make sure the British tea did not get off the ship. Disguised as Native Americans they went to the Boston Harbor, climbed aboard a British that carried boxes of tea, and then threw 90,000 pounds of tea, which was worth thousands if dollars, into the harbor.
