Pizza Powers the Pedals

Help me celebrate the end of Pan Mass Challenge 2014

Pizza Powers the Pedals

The 2014 Pan Mass Challenge may be over, but we haven't hit our fundraising goals yet. The PMC is committed to raising $40 million this year alone and we need your help. Come help me celebrate the completion of my 192 mile journey across Massachusetts with Flatbread Pizza Portsmouth. Flatbread is generously donating a portion of each pizza sold that night to The Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. It will be a beautiful September evening for some pizza so come say hello, eat pizza and help beat cancer! And as always, we will have some great raffle prizes from local businesses and world-wide cycling companies for you to win.

WHY I RIDE ...

Saturday morning August 2nd, I will begin my third Pan-Mass Challenge to benefit the Jimmy Fund and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. While I pedal 192 miles over two days, I will be fueled by the memory of my father. When I was growing up, my dad went through treatment at Dana-Farber for lung cancer. Throughout his treatment, he remained positive and strong. My dad lost his fight to cancer on June 21, 1991. Twenty-three years have passed, and I still think of him every day. I can’t think of a better way to honor my dad’s memory than to ride the PMC. I have a fundraising goal of $7000 for this year and 100% of that goes to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Thank you for your support!
