Transition Coordinating Council of Allegheny County Meetings
TCCAC meetings will be held in 5 sessions throughout the 2021-2022 school year concluding with the mock interview event. Each session is designed to support transition coordinators, educational professionals, parents, and agency providers to support transition age youth with disabilities successfully navigate their pathway toward graduation.
* Please note, fall/winter meetings will be held virtually. Spring meetings will be offered in a hybrid fashion.
Intended Audience: Transition Coordinators; Agency Providers; parents, educational professionals; administrators
- Act 48 hours are available upon completion of each meeting.

Pathways Toward Gainful Employment
Career & Technical Schools are extensions of school districts who provide students of all ages and abilities with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in the future. Join the TCCAC as we meet with these valued partners along with the Builders Guild of Western PA to learn about the benefit of enhancing your professional network and relationships with these valued partners in education.

Pathways to Community Living
Independence is different to each of us as we all have diverse lived experiences. Community/Independent Living is a critical component of transition planning. The effective preparation of students for life after high school includes giving them the keys to live and navigate their world as independently as possible. Join the TCCAC as we explore various tools, resources, and engage in rich conversation with professionals to enhance our knowledge needed to support students navigate their life outside the school walls.

Exploring Intersectionality: Understanding Student Identity to promote meaningful Transition Planning
Join the TCCAC as we take on the discussion intersectionality, building a better understanding of its impact on transition planning and skill development while integrating social emotional/ mental health supports for transition age youth.

11th Annual TCCAC MOCK INTERVIEW EVENT
May 10, 2022 (9:00AM-1:00PM)
For high-school students, interviewing for that first job can be nerve-wracking! It can also be very challenging when you have not done it before. However, putting your best foot forward during the interview is a critical step towards landing a great job during high-school and a valuable skill to develop for the future. The TCCAC Planning Committee invites students ages 15-21 to participate in the 11th Annual Mock Interview Event!
