Fox Trot 2022
Hello JSE Families,
It is time for our Annual (although, we missed a few due to Covid) Fox Trot! This event raises money for enrichment programs, technology upgrades and promotes student fitness. All JSE students will collect pledges from friends and family members before “trotting” with their classmates at the Fox Trot on March 9, 2022. Our goal is to raise $20,000 through donations and business sponsorships.
Our sponsors are vital to the success of this event. The Fox Trot provides an opportunity to promote your company and to support the teachers and students of JSE. Please consider sponsoring this event.
There are three different levels of sponsorship:
● Platinum ($500) includes your company logo on the t-shirt that each child will receive, logo on the banner displayed at Fox Trot, recognition on our social media and logo on a water bottle that the children receive.
● Gold ($250) includes company logo or family/individual name on the t-shirt, banner and recognition on social media.
● Silver ($100) includes logo/name on the shirt and banner.
If you would like to sponsor this event, please fill out the form linked below and submit your payment (if paying with check) with the form to JSE. You can pay for your sponsorship with a check to JSE PTO or through our Venmo account (@JSEPTO) or PayPal (John Sevier Elementary PTO)
Logos need to be emailed to: johnsevierpto@gmail.com
Thank you for your continued support of JSE students.
****JSE PTO Board Sponsorships are DUE NO LATER THAN MONDAY, JANUARY 31. ****

Illness / Absences
If your student is absent due to COVID or COVID-related issues, please contact the JSE school nurses, Liz Hollenkamp and Christy Robinette, via their school emails (included below). If your student took an at-home COVID test and the results were positive, then please take a photo of the positive test results and share that with our school nurses. Proof of a positive COVID test allows us to mark your student's absences as excused in PowerSchool. You may also provide documentation from your health care provider or local health department.
That said, parents and guardians are NOT required to have their child tested for COVID in order to have an absence marked as excused in PowerSchool. Parents and guardians can simply provide us with a parent note about the absence(s). Each student is allowed ten (10) excused 'parent note' absences each school year.

Christy Robinette (christy.robinette@maryville-schools.org)
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher, the JSE school nurses, or the JSE Main Office.
Thank you!
