Gifted Education News for Fernbrook Elementary
What an awesome year we have had!
What a year! I have had a great time working with your students and the rest of the Fernbrook community this year! Thank you for all you have done for your children and our school throughout the year. I am so excited to be back next year and being able to work with all students K-5. I wish all the best to those of you that will not be returning to Fernbrook next year. For my 5th graders, I wish you the best in Middle School, stay in touch. Welcome to the new 2nd grade families! I enjoyed working with your child this spring. To all those returning to Fernbrook, I look forward to reconnecting with you in the fall! Thank you for being part of my teacher life this year. Have a wonderful summer!
Summer Creativity Schoology Course is here!!
A fellow GE teacher created a course in Schoology that provides all kinds of creative and critical thinking activities and links for students to engage in over the summer! I modified this and added some things and shared this with my 3rd and 4th grade students and they joined the course. Any other student that has participated in GE this year and did not get the information from me, could still join the course by logging into Schoology with their Osseo apps log in and join the course using this access code- GFPZH-DK75W. Unfortunately 2nd graders can't access it yet because they have not logged into their Osseo Apps account. Let me know if you would like me to send you any of the information electronically. 5th graders feel free to join too:) Let me know if you have any trouble,

GE Monthly District Parent Forums
W enjoyed the chance to connect with some of the GE parent from across our district during the parent forums this year! We hope they were a beneficial way to learn about issues in Gifted Education and connect with other parents. Based on feedback we received we do plan to continue them next year. Look for more information in the fall for topics and dates. If you were not able to attend any of the forums this year but are interested in the information please see the links to the presentations below.
