Festive Fun at West Freehold School!

A HUGE thank you to West Freehold School's PE teachers, Ms. Gleason and Mr. Brusotti!

Each year they transform the gym into a Halloween dream and this year the was no different. All of our students enjoyed their time in our spooky space that definitely got everyone into the Halloween spirit!

WFS GOLDEN SPOON Winners!

Each day our students are striving to display READY, KIND and SAFE behavior in the cafeteria. The class that demonstrates that they can BE THE THREE earn the GOLDEN SPOON for the day. One class per grade level is recognized each day during our afternoon announcements.


At the end of a five week cycle, the class at each grade level with the most GOLDEN SPOONS will earn a reward.

The Golden Spoon winners for the month of October are......

  • Kindergarten: Ms. Stokes’ class
  • 1st Grade: Ms. Salkin's class
  • 2nd Grade: Ms. Bonaventura's class
  • 3rd Grade: Ms. Nicola’s class
  • 4th Grade: Ms. Ross’ class
  • 5th Grade: A THREE Way Tie! Ms. Pender/Ms. Charles' class, Ms. Diaz’s class & Ms. Sabo’s class

THE WFS SCHOOL STORE IS BACK!

Special thanks to our staff and students in Ms. Criscuolo's classroom and Ms. Martin's classroom! The WFS School Store was developed and is run by this dedicated group of individuals. Students select items to sell, determine prices, create flyers and commercials, AND manage the shop during select student lunches. We are SUPER proud of all the work they do!


To start the year, the school store is open during select student lunches on a rotating schedule. Be on the lookout for information being sent home so your child is ready to purchase some goodies!

FAQ

WHAT TO DO WHEN:

My child is late and we arrive after 8:10? Park in the main lot and walk your child to the front door. Ring the bell and the door will be opened for your child. There is no need to enter the building yourself; main office staff will assist your child in getting to their classroom

I plan to pick up my child from school early? Send in a note with your child indicating that they will be picked up early. When you arrive, park in the main lot and ring the bell at the front door. Your child will be brought out to you and a staff member will assist you in signing them out. You will need to show your ID.

I have a change of dismissal plans? Send in a note with your child, indicating how they will be dismissed. If a change needs to be made in the middle of the day, please call the main office prior to 2:00.
