It was a great week of Middle School concerts and Marching Workshops. This upcoming week we get to celebrate and send off our Class of 2023 - THANK YOU, SENIORS! And then we are into Band Camp 1 and SUMMER!

Band Camp 1 Supplies
A friendly reminder that woodwind, brass, and percussion students need the following supplies for Band Camp 1:
BLACK Binder with Cover Sheet Holder / Sheet Protectors
Pencils / Highlighter
Athletic shorts and shoes
Plain White T-shirts
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
Instrument, Instrument Equipment / Supplies
Breathing tube (Brass and Woodwinds Only…)
½ inch size from Lowe’s
Water Jug
Open mind and a great attitude!
Guard, check with Dr. Godoy and Mr. Troche!
Attendance
As we move into Band Camp 1 and our summer training programs, please review our posted calendar and attendance policy in the Band Handbook (both available on the band website) as well as utilizing our absence request form.
Being present is one of our most important values!

Our very own Mr. Darrah received the PTSA’s “Friend of Children” Award for his dedication and love of the CHHS Band program for the past TWENTY YEARS. We are lucky to have him!

2023 Kick Off!

Concert Uniform Check-In
Concert Uniform Check-In will happen during June Camp. After graduation, please take your uniform to the dry cleaners, keep it in the wrapping, and turn it in to Ms. Beer.
*Even if you are not returning to band, you need to return your concert uniform sometime during June Camp
*If you are not participating in graduation band, you may turn in your uniform (in the dry cleaning wrapping) to Mrs. Eby before the end of the school year
INSTRUMENT CHECK IN
SENIORS: Please turn in your concert instrument to Mr. Haddock during your band class.
Underclassmen: Mr. Haddock will check in your instrument during your band class next week, then check it back out to you for use over the summer. Marching instruments are assigned and can be picked up in the band hall.
Physicals
Remember, ALL STUDENTS need to have physicals on file with Mr. Haddock before Band Camp 2 in late July! Get it done early!
