Definitions:

Natural Resource ~ are elements of the environment that are considered valuable to humans

Nonrenewable Resource~ are formed over very long geological periods

Renewable Resource~ are ones that can be replenished or reproduced easily

Inexhaustible Resource~ are present in unlimited quantity in nature and are not likely to be exhausted easily by human activity

Summary:

One of earths most important natural resource is water. Many people fear that humans are destroying the world's natural resources. Most of the world's water is not safe for us to drink or wash in, because it is salty or frozen in glaciers. We use water in many different ways, around the house, a source of energy, and growth. It is important to conserve and protect water. All living things depend on water to survive.
Water is a renewable resource.
The water cycle is the continuous movement of water on earth. The earth depends on this cycle.

Environmental Concerns:

There is a water crisis. Water pollution is the contamination of bodies of freshwater by harmful things like fertilizer, pesticides, sewage, and oil or toxic waste from ships and factories. A lot of water pollution comes from human activity. Water pollution effects natures water cycle negatively.

Water conservation is very important. Conserving water is easy to do. Every one of us can conserve water by taking shorter showers, not letting the water run while you brush your teeth, and water your lawns only when necessary. Make conserving water a habit. We must take care of our water today so we have it in the future.
