Note from Dr. Schwarting

Thank you, Desert Mountain families! Our morning drop-off has been glorious! I appreciate everyone respecting the 8:00 am drop off time. This allows us to work through the drop-off line quickly when we open the gates between 7:50 and 7:55ish. Just keep in mind that there may be days when it will be impossible for us to open the gates before 8:00 am. On a side note, class begins at 8:15 am. Please try to drop your student off by 8:10 to give them plenty of time to get to class on time.

Additionally, our parent pick-up time is down to about 9 minutes! That's pretty incredible. Please remind your child to look for their cars and be prepared to load. Also, please make sure you slow down in the parking lots and roads on campus. We have a lot of parents and students walking through the parking lots.

Finally, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we manage the uptick of illness in our community. We are doing everything we can to keep our school and classrooms open. Please make sure you do not send your child to school if they are feeling unwell or have visible signs of flu or cold symptoms. This will help us diminish the spread of the flu, colds, and Covid on our campus.

As always, thank you for your partnership and support!
