Our Path Note Topic
The Center for Disease Control has recently made changes to the COVID-19 Quarantine recommendations. The PA Department of Health has in turn revised the state’s quarantine standards. The WASD will be reflecting the state’s standards. In addition, WASD has also revised the number of quarantine days for in-household contacts of staff. Please find the changes below.
1. As far as quarantining, we have "0" positive cases that occurred between 15-20 days during household contacts of staff. Therefore, the protocols for quarantining of staff only are as follows:
· 14- days—May return on the 15th day with a doctor’s note.
· 20-days may return on 21st day, if not symptomatic. No Doctor's excuse required.
· If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to quarantine. You are only considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the last vaccination (2 doses-Modern and Pfizer/1 dose-Johnson & Johnson).
