Key Beliefs
Christians believe that one man named Jesus Christ, died on a cross as a ultimate sacrifice to God. they also believe heavily in prayer, Sabbath, trinity, and the declaration of faith.
Sacraments
one major sacrament for Christians is baptism where someones body is briefly placed underwater, admitting the recipient to the Christian community. Another is called Communion, where bread is eaten and wine is drunk as a way of showing devotion to Jesus.
Place of Worship
The main place of worship is a church or a building for public worship Especially for Christians.
Worship Leader
A Catholic worship leader is often called a priest. a priest is someone who's authorized to preform sacraments, such as baptism.
The Holy Book
The Christian Holy Book is called the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible contains the rules that Christians have to follow.
Holiday
The word holiday comes from the word Holy-day, or days special to Christians, these include Easter, the day Jesus rose from the grave, and Christmas, the day Jesus was born.
Holy Site
Like the two other major religions the Christians Holy site is in Jerusalem Israel, at the site where Jesus was crucified. Now there lays a church called the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
A Common Relgious Figure
One man major to all three religions name is Abraham. He appears in all three of the major religions.
