Hi Reptile Families,
Can you believe we are already in February? This school year is flying by. We do have many more exciting things happening this year. As a reminder, February 3rd is a 2 hour early release day.
The month of February serves as a reminder to focus on the things we love and how we treat others. Have your child join us next week during Kindness Week.

Tuesday, February 9th – “Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud”- Dress up in your grade level color (Kindergarten – Red, 1st Grade – Orange, 2nd Grade – Yellow, 3rd Grade – Green, 4th Grade – Blue, 5th Grade – Purple)
Wednesday, February 10th – “Crazy for Kindness”- Crazy hair day or wear a hat
Thursday, February 11th – “Look for the Good in Others”- Wear sunglasses
Friday, February 12th – “Show your kind heart”- Wear red or pink
We had several students that participated in our District Science & Engineering Fair this past weekend and they did a fantastic job representing NRES! We are so proud of you!
Thank you for doing your part to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. As a reminder, please use the student screener each morning prior to sending your child to school.
Please reach out if you need anything.
Thank you,

FSA Testing Information
The Florida Department of Education has informed all school districts that state testing is still scheduled during the months of April and May this year. The state requires that all testing must take place on campus and cannot be administered at home or online, regardless of whether the student is attending class in person or online. As the testing window nears, your student’s school will contact you with specific testing dates, times, and locations.
