Scranton Regional College Fair

Scranton High School Community and School Counseling Department, we would like to invite you and your students to our 1st Annual Scranton Regional College Fair to be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018! The fair will be open to all of our Regional High School Students from 6PM-8PM. They will also host two informative workshops prior to the fair start time presented by Scranton Area Foundation and Wells Fargo on Area Scholarship Opportunities and Funding Your College Education.

They have partnered with GoToCollegeFairs.com (https://register.gotocollegefairs.com/Registration/EventSelectForState?StateName=Pennsylvania) to automate this fair so that all students attending will have the ability to register then print out a barcode unique to them. This will allow the attending 80 Colleges, Universities and Financial Institutions to scan their code when they visit to acquire more information about them. For more information on this, please see the attachments below.

Community Service Opportunities

Don't forget that part of the graduation requirements is that all students must complete 20 hours of community service. This can begin as early as the summer after 8th grade and concludes in senior year.

Jermyn Little League

April 7th – 10 am to 2 pm

April 8th – 10 am to 2 pm

April 14th – 10 am to 2 pm

We’re not asking for the entire 4 hours each day, or all 3 days for that matter. The more people we have, the faster it will go. It’s basic cleanup…raking leaves, some trash pickup, concession stand cleaning, etc.
