One of the advantages of this job is that it would allow you to be creative, and you would also be able to work with a lot of different people.

- Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel of accessories, with color schemes, construction material types, etc.


- Attend fashion shows and review garment magazines and manuals to gather information about fashion trends and consumer preferences.


- Select materials and production technique to be used for products.

Some abilities you would need are fluency of ideas, and originality. Some knowledge you would need is design, and Building and Construction. An advantage of this job is that you can be creative, and also help people find their visions of their homes, and other places.

- Advise client on interior designer factors such as space planning, layout and use of furnishings, and color coordination.

- Select or design, and purchase furnishings, art works, and accessories.

- Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval.
