Principal's Message

Can you believe we are already beginning the 3rd week of the six weeks? This semester is flying by. It is going to be that much more important to be aware of the dates and deadlines coming up. The first semester was about making sure that all of our new goals and priorities were introduced and communicated well. This second semester is about implementation of all of these. The professional development opportunities or PLCs will be about giving you the time to plan for what is expected so that it can be implemented. I know how busy it can get but let's make the most of the time we have by focusing on the things that matter most. We are data rich here at Sudie Williams. We have many data points that teachers can use to ensure that students are getting what they need. We have ISIP monthly data, we have ACP data, common assessment data, STAAR release data and daily DOLs. Let's utilize this data to implement the needed adjustments for our students. The use data is one of the things that the short article below points out that great teachers do. Take time to read it and see how these four things align with your own personal goals that you have set for yourself. Click on the title below to read the article.

College Banners

We have received approximately 25 college banners that will be displayed in the foyer and in the auditorium. These banners were donated to help support our college going culture. Take time to point them out to your students and tell them where they are located and what their mascot is.

Compassion- understanding the needs or hurts that others may feel

The word of the week will be read in the auditorium. Have the designated student(s) in the auditorium by 7:50.
