NUCLEUS
The nucleus regulates all cell activity. It does this by controlling the enzymes present. Has chromosomes that composes the DNA.
Nucleolus
This is used as instructions to create the building blocks of the cell(proteins)
Cell Membrane
The cell membrane regulates the entrance and exit of substances thus maintaining internal balance.
Cell Wall
The cell wall is an important structure found in plants, bacteria, algae and fungi, but is missing in animals
Mitochondria
The main function of the mitochondria is to produce energy for various parts of the body.
Golgi
A major organelle in most eukaryotic cells is the structure of membrane-bound sacs called the Golgi apparatus.
Smooth ER
The smooth endoplasmic reticulum has such functions as the manufacture of steroid hormones in endocrine cells.
Rough ER
The rough endoplasmic reticulum is a membranous structure that associates closely with the nucleus.
Ribosomes
Those proteins might be used as enzymes or as support for other cell functions. When you need to make proteins, you look for ribosomes.
Vacuole
The vacuole isolates substances that might be harmful to the cell and maintains an acidic internal pH.
Chloroplast
Chloroplasts are the food producers of the cell. They are only found in plant cells and some protists. Animal cells do not have chloroplasts.
