STORM scholarship tips
- Consult college/university websites for scholarship information…not all scholarships will come to the STORM Counseling Office.
- Be aware of all deadlines…are they “postmarked” deadlines or “received by” deadlines??
- TURN IN ALL SCHOLARSHIPS YOU RECEIVE TO MRS. CLARK…EVEN IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THEM.
- Be aware of scams…avoid programs that “guarantee” scholarship money. Avoid programs that want you to give money to receive money. Avoid programs that sound too good to be true.
- Additional FREE scholarship searches: www.fastweb.com, www.finaid.org, www.cfnc.org
