We've almost made it to the end!
May is looking to be the busiest month of the year!! Really not kidding..there is an event almost every day in the month of May!!! Please read this newsletter carefully so that you don't miss anything important.

UIL Reception
May 18th- 6:00 PM HIS Cafe (I-4)
Students will receive their ribbons/medals if they competed and placed in the meet at Pine Tree on March 4th.
UIL Reception Invitations were sent home last week. Please return your RSVP if you plan on attending.
May 19th- 5th grade JH tour
Library News
1) All books are due on Friday, May 12th. No books will be checked out to any student who has a late book or unpaid fine beginning May 1.
2) Students will be ineligible for the last 9 weeks reward if the student is not clear in the library.
3) Thank you for shopping at the HIS Book Fairs! The library was able to purchase over 100 new books for each library, bookmarks to finish the year and start next year, plus new chairs and a binding repair machine for I5! Thank you parents, grandparents and students!
Cell phones
Please make sure that students do not have cell phones out at buses or pickups. We have to be consistent every week no matter who is on duty.
First offense: Student conference with administration and student may collect
Second offense: $15 fine and parent must pick up
Third offense: $15 fine and student is no longer permitted to have electronic in possession.
