Little Rock Nine

What
Nine black students enrolled at Central High School, an all white school. The governor sent armed soldiers to block the students from entering.

The location of this historical event is Little Rock, Arkansas.
Who
The name of the nine black students were Gloria Ray, Terrance Roberts, Melba Patillo, Elizabeth Eckford, Ernest Green, Minnijean brown , Jefferson Thomas, Carlotta Walls, and Thelma Mothershed.
Why
The reason this historical event happened is because the nine students wanted free education and the governor, Orval Faubus wanted to take that from the black students.
