Where's the Snow?!
No snow days yet... but that just means more time to learn!!!
In our literacy/science connection this past week we learned about different animals in winter. We learned about migration and hibernation. Hopefully you got to read about adaptation in the reader I sent home on Friday! :) See below for some cute hibernation projects being created!
Craft Time!
Peyton is working hard making her bear's den for hibernation.
A Fun Fact We Learned
Some say that bears actually wake up once in a while during the winter, but it is stated as fact that bears do hibernate.
ROAR!
Zach IS a bear!!
Kid Writing
Personal Narratives
Adam and Andrew are proud to show off their work on their personal narratives. We are writing true stories that happened to us. Adam wrote about working on the farm with his dad and Andrew is talking about fishing in his pond.
We are working hard on using lowercase letters, spaces between our letters, and periods at the ends of our sentences! Practice at home!
