In math, students will finish their fraction products which demonstrate mastery of the goals we set based on their pre-assessment and their MAPs data. We will also focus on adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators. Students will continue to work on their Genius Hour projects this week. Your student's Genius Hour project is stored on their Google Drive so please feel free to check in with them on the topic they chose!

In ELA/SS, students will explore the characteristics of Native American societies, particularly noting the minuscule similarities and differences between them. They will focus on the use of the land, the customs and traditions, and the overall structures of both society and government. Together with a partner, they will create a poster to teach their classmates about their assigned tribe. Lastly, they will begin a writing in which they will choose from a variety of informative, opinion, and narrative prompts.
