Beethoven's Early Life
Beethoven's early life was miserable. He was one of 7 children and one of 3 children to survive to adulthood. He loved his mother Maria very much and he had a hard-drinking father. His father noticed his natural ability in music and since he lived in a poor family, saw him as a source of income.

Beethoven's Legacy
Beethoven was a great composer who struggled through his inability to hear. He found a way to compose music despite his challenge. In my opinion, this is one of the worst things that could happen to a composer. Beethoven was a truly amazing composer. He deserves to be remembered 200 years later.
