I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break! We are back in school and we survived our first day back. A big THANK YOU for all of the very nice Christmas gifts. Mrs. Secker's and I are very appreciative of your thoughtfulness.

This weeks concepts
Math - recognizing numbers to 15. calendar skills,
Reading - sight words (and, he, she, have, can, to, at, I, we, a like, the, some, one, two, three, an, has, is, not, see, go, four, five, my, will, are, do, for) Asking questions, compare and contrast and reading comprehension
Phonics - letters r, s, t. Blending 3 letter words using word family -op and -ot. Beginning and ending sounds in words.
Scientist of the Week
Ellen is our scientist of the week and she will be presenting her project on Wednesday.
