Upcoming Events
November 29th - December 13th: Holiday Food Drive - Spicewood Park Elementary will be collecting canned/packaged food for the holidays to work towards our Sustainable Developmental Goal of Zero Hunger! Please send the following food items based on your child's grade level to complete holiday baskets for SPE families to enjoy during the Holiday break.
PK/ECSE - Cornbread Mix
Kinder - Mac and Cheese boxes
1st- Mashed potato packets
2nd - Corn/Green beans
3rd - Canned fruit
4th - Stuffing
5th - Peas/Mixed veggies
December 1st: Start 12 Days of Winter - We will start our 12 Days of Winter on December 1st. There will be a theme for each day to celebrate the Holiday season! Please see the attached flyer for more information.
December 7th: Miles of Smiles - We will have a dentist coming to our campus for dental cleanings. If you would like your student to participate, please sign and return the Miles of Smiles permission letter that will be sent home by Nurse Christy.
December 8th: Middle of Year CIP/CNA Parent Meeting - SPE will be going through our Campus Improvement Plan and Comprehensive Needs Assessment for our parents and guardians after school via Google meets at 4:30pm. December 10th: Blue Santa Parade at 10:00am
December 13th: Vision/Hearing Tests at School - Please ensure your students are present this day!
December 15th: Holiday Show Performance/Title 1 from 4:30 - 6:00 - Students will be performing a holiday song with their class. We will provide more information closer to the event!
December 16th: Attendance Incentive at 1:40pm - The classes that have the most perfect attendance will be rewarded with snack and a movie. Please ensure your students are present and on time for school!
December 16th: Early Dismissal at 2:40pm - Please ensure your student has proper accomodations for this day!
December 17th - January 1st: Holiday Break - NO SCHOOL for our students or staff! Enjoy your holiday break!
January 2nd: Student Holiday/Staff Professional Development - NO SCHOOL for our students!

Reminders
- When students attend school regularly and on time, they are more likely to succeed in academics. They tend to have fewer discipline problems, develop better study habits, and learn more. Please ensure your students are attending school daily and on time to increase their success!
- Please do not release students from vehicles at drop off prior to 7:30 a.m. Please wait for our staff to assist in sfely guiding students inside the building.
