Many teens get bullied every year
The 2013 Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance Survey finds that 15% of high school students (grades 9-12) were electronically bullied in the past year.
Virginia cyberbullying
In Virginia, people in authority are allowed to search devices for evidence of cyberbullying.
How can we end it?
People are researching cyber bullying more and more each year but with technology growing it is harder to create surveys to predict cyber bullying. Cyber bullying occurs mostly from computers and cellular devices so to help prevent bullying parents need to supervise what their kids have access to. Also, most social media sites like Facebook, twitter, and instagram are trying to monitor and look more into what people do. Our groups opinion on cyber bullying is that there should be more pop up adds and commercials about this terrible topic. If that could happen less kids would be depressed.
