NEWS FROM OUR SCHOOL COUNSELOR MRS. CALDWELL
Showing love, kindness, and appreciation has many benefits in our lives. It builds strong, healthy relationships. It brings feelings of joy and happiness. It helps develop a prosocial attitude – meaning we want to make the world better for those around us. With that, we become less selfish and self-centered. Each day this week, try sharing together how each member of your family has shown love, kindness, or appreciation towards someone else. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Message from our School Librarian
February 13, 2023
Thanks to the efforts of our PTA and library committee, quite a few new books have just been added to our library. If you want to feed your imagination, “read” Tuesday by David Wiesner. There are almost no words, but the illustrations tell the story beautifully. You’ll be dreaming of flying frogs and lily pads! Most Likely Tomorrow is filled with endless imaginative possibilities. Memoirs of a Goldfish, the tale of a crowded tank, might be relatable to those of us who like our personal space but cherish friends and loved ones. For those who want to learn something new and appreciate photography, we have several new series. Come check out a series about sharks, types of rocks, or space. It will be hard to pass up the new books on Sea Turtles and Polar Bears. There is always something new to discover at the library.
