As we prepare for taking steps in to the next school year, You will be able to request a 'type' of teacher for your child using the Google link below. A certain teacher may not be available because of staff changes that occur from year to year. You will be requesting a specific 'type', not a specific teacher.

The teachers, Mrs. Dias, and I spend an enormous amount of time placing our students in the most appropriate classroom for the upcoming school year. Classes must be balanced as to academic needs, gender, behavioral accommodations, learning styles, and individual learning needs. We also consider the teaching and learning styles. We encourage you to trust us to select the most appropriate teacher for your child.

Not everyone will need to complete the Google Form. We understand and appreciate the vast majority of parents who are comfortable with our placement of their children. However, if you feel your child has areas we need to address and are not aware of, now is the time to complete the Google Form. The Google Form must be completed by Friday, May 19th. *5th Graders attending a PISD Middle School next year, do not need to complete this form, however, if you are moving out of PISD for 6th grade, please do complete it.

Online registration for new students to Plano ISD begins March 20. Registration is for the 2023-2024 school year and is for all grade levels, except Pre-K, which begins registration on April 3.

· New Student Enrollment (kindergarten-12th grade): Begins March 20, 2023

· Head Start Round Up: March 20 - 24, 2023

· Pre-K enrollment: Begins on April 3, 2023

To assist families who might have questions about eligibility, Head Start is holding a Round Up event:

Students currently in the district should not enroll. Annual registration occurs in the summer.

The PISD Intent to Return Form is now available. This form will collect valuable data for various departments including, but not limited to, staffing allocations, projected enrollment numbers, and your expected no show list. If you have not yet completed the form, please click the link below. Families have until Monday, May 15, to complete the form.

We are pleased to welcome visitors to campus for lunch and assemblies. We do ask that visitors please sign up prior to any lunch or assembly visit using the links below. This will allow us to plan for the number of visitors to expect, as well as expedite the sign in process.

Please remember to always check in at the office and have your photo ID with you when you come.

* Students are not allowed to invite friends to eat with them.

* Parents may only bring lunch for their child. Sharing food with other students is prohibited.

* After lunch, parents need to return to the office to sign out.

Harrington PTA is partnering with EPI to offer prepackaged school supply packs for the upcoming school year. You can pre-order packs on the PTA website through May 26.

*Packs include the exact items on the https://www.pisd.edu/harrington supply lists.

*Your purchase is tax-free when ordered through the PTA website.
